This is the first time I have sat in front of a computer to do something other than work for the last few days. Don't get me wrong, I haven't had a job for the last six months so it was great to get out and work. But I have ran myself ragged. Monday I got up before sunrise and drove up to the lake. Got my shot of the sunrise which was absoloutely beautiful. About an hour after that I ended up helping my father spread a metric ton and a half of gravel around his driveway. I hate back breaking manual labor in the sun. Who's with me?! Then after that I got to run home and take a quick shower because my day wasn't done yet. I was asked to help a lady from my in-laws church plate a meal. I didn't only plate a meal, but I prepped it and cooked it as well. At least I didn't have to do the dishes. That was my first day of straight working in quite a while. Tuesday was spent cleaning up my wife and my home. Being a husband at home had it advantages. Sleeping in, eating whatever whenever, and playing video games when I wanted. But Tuesday had no room for those wonderful things, so to cleaning I went, and clean it all became. But it doesn't stop there. Yesterday, wednesday, my partner and I had a video to shoot. So I got to Fresno around ten in the morning, not too early, but it get's better. We shot the video we needed and then took a two hour break to watch the Final Fantasy VII movie: Advent Children. It was one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen, even with it all being completely cg. Even had a lot of things that indie film makers like myself could learn. Then we went to the beast of our work for the vid project, the editing. We started at 2:30pm and didn't leave the office with our completed product until shortly after midnight. Today I got to do another one of my wonderful domestic duties, laundry. So after this week, I think I am going to take this weekend, and work some more. That's right, more work for the weekend. Ah well, I had a drought of work for six months and as they ysay, when it rains, it pours.
Cheers.
